All donations, no matter how small, are deeply appreciated.
LOCAL ACTIVISM
NPAC mobilizes local residents around their pesticide concerns and encourages
individual and collective community action through phone-calling and letter-writing
campaigns, media attention to the issue, and community outreach.
NPAC needs you to join us in vital community actions. This could mean making signs, marching in a parade, distributing leaflets, writing letters to your local paper, calling your neighbors and representatives, or showing up at rallies and press conferences. E-mail us at info@npacboston.org to find out more. Fill out the form on our Contact Us page if you would like to be added to our e-mail list.

EDUCATION
We create and distribute educational material about the pesticides used in
our public parks and open spaces, with special emphasis on the dangers
pesticides pose to our children and our pets. We also encourage the use
of safer alternatives, including organic pest management (OPM), low-input
landscape maintenance (LILM), and integrated pest management (IPM).
NPAC must stay on top of the latest information about pesticides and the use of safer alternatives. We need your help in gathering that information, organizing periodic educational forums, creating leaflets and other documents, and sharing the information with our neighbors. E-mail us at info@npacboston.org to find out more. Fill out the form on our Contact Us page if you would like to be added to our e-mail list.

PUBLIC-POLICY DEVELOPMENT AND PROMOTION
In collaboration with public officials and community members, we address
the needs of local residents by developing and promoting public policies
for environments free of pesticides and other potentially toxic chemicals.
NPAC needs you to join with us and with public officials in formulating policies that promote environments free of pesticides. Both experienced and inexperienced residents are invited to take part in this essential NPAC activity. E-mail us at info@npacboston.org to find out more. Fill out the form on our Contact Us page if you would like to be added to our e-mail list.

RESEARCH
Locally: We research the pesticides used by various agencies in the city
of Boston so as to inform the public of their potential dangers.
Nationally and internationally: We research policies limiting the use of
toxic chemicals that are being implemented in communities around the country
and in other parts of the world.
NPAC needs your help in uncovering which pesticides certain local agencies use, finding out the pesticides' potential dangers, and researching safer alternatives. We also need your help in learning about how other communities have limited the use of toxic chemicals in their neighborhoods, so that we can benefit from their experience. E-mail us at info@npacboston.org to find out more. Fill out the form on our Contact Us page if you would like to be added to our e-mail list.
